Planned preventive maintenance (PPM) is regular, scheduled work carried out to keep equipment in good working order and to optimise its efficiency and will add to the longevity of your unit. Many emergency break downs are avoidable if a unit has been regularly serviced and maintained.
Preventive maintenance will reduce the possibility of equipment failure, it is designed to preserve and enhance equipment reliability by replacing worn components before they actually fail.
All maintenance visits are carried out at times convenient to yourself by our fully qualified (and highly experienced Engineers producing a maintenance report on completion of each visit.
All owners and operators of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment are legally responsible as per The European F-Gas regulation that is now law.
Refcom F-Gas CertificatedAll air conditioning/refrigeration systems containing more than 3kg of fluorinated refrigerants (f-gases) must be properly monitored and maintained at least every 6 months to minimise leaks.
This means that some single split systems, all multi/vrf systems and all chiller installations must be under planned maintenance with an accredited air conditioning contractor registered with ACRIB/REFCOM
Air Cool engineers are F-Gas qualified as per this new legislation.
